Works from different cultures and regions demonstrate different ways of thinking. The theme of this competition is difficult to develop on, yet many of the works have reached a satisfactory standard. It has been a very difficult task to choose between the designs because of the varying ways of representation included, such as shapes, photographs, and illustrations. We were finally able to select the top three posters, however. This has been a good platform for international student designers to interact on, and has worked to promote growth the design industry in many ways.

Xavier Bermudez

Many of the works submitted show a lack of research on the theme. The concepts developed may therefore miss the target. It is important that designers read and study the theme of the competition. A sound concept gives form to a sound representation.
